ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the merger process between hotels and application software firms which is one way for hotel companies to achieve value. It states that successful merger process requires financial structuring mastery and keen ability in aligning diverse constituencies for a common vision. Moreover, the four main steps for a merger process between a hotel and software firm are preparing an offering memorandum (OM), prioritizing a buyer list, performing a valuation, and negotiations.
