The article offers the author's insights on the merging of Mirage Resorts Inc. and MGM Grand. She mentions that the Microsoft Message Queuing Services (MSMQ) technology was used to integrate the data of each property's four primary systems including property management system (PMS). Moreover, she presents the views of Glenn Bonner on the future hospitality technology wherein Bonner projects the transition of some commercial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) providers to hospitality market.
