Pharmacy inventories of Merciful Brethren Order from the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century were analysed. The inventory from Spišské Podhradie from year 1829 contains 372 items, including herbal, animal, mineral and chemical drugs and composites. The number of the medicinal specifics in the studied period shows an increasing trend in the order pharmacies. In year 1903 there were 60 specifics of assortment in the pharmacy located in Bratislava, 33 specifics in pharmacy in Spišské Podhradie, and 35 specifics in pharmacy in Skalica. The number of pharmacy suppliers also shows increasing tendency.
