ABSTRACT
The article focuses on regulatory policy related to marketing of prescription medicines. It says that antimalarial drugs that do not meet the quality standards of the World Health Organizations (WHO) are being sale in some countries. It mentions the affiliation of WHO with the International Medical Products Anti-Counterfeiting Taskforce (IMPACT) in which the taskforce is pressuring developing countries to pursue the intellectual property enforcement to address the issue on substandard medicine.
