ABSTRACT
This paper, originally presented at the Fourth International Space Congress at Cocoa Beach, Florida, suggests some ways in which the role of the technical writer and editor in the aerospace industry has been developing and will continue to develop through the 1970's. It also mentions some challenges, particularly the "human gap" problem, that will have to be met by communications specialists.
