ABSTRACT
The article discusses the result of a survey about the organizational impact and readiness of hospitals with the 2011 ICD-10 directive in the U.S. The survey shows that just over half of the organizations have completed the initial readiness assessment and less than the respondents anticipate revenue loss. However, it also mentions that, although some are expecting loss impending implementation, almost half of the respondent leaders are expecting a substantial revenue hit after.
