The article focuses on the initiatives of Chris Tribbey, manager of service marketing at The Motor Co. in the U.S., to accomplish behavioral change of employees on a business-wide scale. He develops the Service Consultant Selling Techniques (SCST) program to reduce dealer expenses. He creates the marketing program called More Than an Oil Change to educate owners of Harley-Davidson motorcycle about the elements of routine services. He also assists dealer service and parts personnel.
