The article reports on the development of advanced avionic systems which offer a fundamental contribution to increase the operational capabilities of modern combat aircraft in 2011. The Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) take the form of the device of NV with a separate intensifier tube for every eye and a binocular eyepiece. The Panoramic NVG was also developed to offer 95-100° Field Of View (FOV) by using four smaller 16 millimetre (mm)-diameter (dia.) image intensifier tubes.
