ABSTRACT
The author describes his relationship with his father and his family bakery Carlo's Bake Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey. He describes his visits at the bakery during childhood, his father's ambition of featuring his shop in a bridal magazine, and how he had to enter family business after death of his father. He narrates an incidence of how he learnt to make lobster tails from his father in a dream. He also describes how he expanded the business and started the television show "Cake Boss."
