ABSTRACT
The article considers the improving prospects for the commercial property market in Portsmouth, England and its football club Pompey in 2011. Pompey is expected to benefit from the plan of Russian oligarch Vladimir Antonov to acquire the club. The significance of the completion of the purchase of the freehold of the Marine House and its warehouse by water treatment specialist Pall Europe from Shepherd is noted.
