ABSTRACT
The article reports on the remarks given by Robert Blendon of the Harvard School of Public Health regarding the state of the U.S. Medicaid health program a of July 2011. He stresses the popularity of Medicaid, noting its improved coverage which included nursing home residents and the disabled. He expresses understanding to why most of the public oppose Medicaid budget cuts. He also suggests how Medicaid directors can successfully convey the main objective of the program which is to help people.
