ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia to invest 50 million dollars in Beijing, China-based fertilizer maker Yongye International Inc. As such, it is said that Morgan Stanley will be able to convert its stock at 15 dollars per share since part of the deal is for Yongye to provide multi-year profit commitments. The said deal is expected to close by June 10, 2011.
