ABSTRACT
The article offers information on IP (Internet Protocol) telephony. Voice over IP (VoIP) services enable users to make voice calls that can be sent via a single line simultaneously, cutting the cost of each call substantially. Another stage in IP telephony is the SIP trunk, which is a digital phone line connecting VoIP calls to the regular phone network. Voiceflex and Gamma Telecom are two major suppliers of SIP trunks in Great Britain.
