ABSTRACT
The article discusses the fight for members between rival unions, the National Union of Healthcare Workers (NUHW) and Service Employees International Union-United Healthcare Workers West (SEIU-UHW). It mentions that this fight has caused legal disputes including a lawsuit filed against SEIU-UHW for physical intimidation to workers not switching representation. However, the article also sites that they also have similar opinion that their resources should be spent to efforts in improving healthcare and working conditions in California.
