ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the adoption of strategic succession plan in Mann Farms. Chris Mann, son of the owner of Mann Farms, says that his father, Fred, transferred farm responsibilities to his sons as he released control on it. It adds that the smooth transition of responsibilities to the next generation at Mann Farms has involved growing the business with larger wean-to-finish hog operation and adding acres. Moreover, farm succession requires defining responsibilities for the next generation.
