The article presents the views of several people related to the barefoot/minimalist shoes being a long-term trend or not. Brian Stewart, creative director at the company Nike Running states that though these shoes good for fashion, only best ideas will survive. Ted Kushion, merchandise manager at the company Gazelle Sports mentions that he sees the shoes as supplement to training. Brigitte Liedke, buyer at the company Summit Sports highlights that these shoes are here to stay.
