The reports on the development of the operating results of providers of instructional resources in the U.S. It notes that seven companies aligned to the "Educational Marketer" (EM) Publisher Performance Index showed improvement in their 2010 operating margins. It includes Cengage Academic & Professional group which topped in the Performance Index aiming primarily at the higher education market. Moreover, publishers are pushing for digital product and services for perfomance growth.
