ABSTRACT
The article reports on the sales projections of McGraw-Hill Cos. for the PreK-12 textbook market and college books business in the U.S. for the third quarter 2008. Accordingly, McGraw-Hill no longer expects a four to six percent growth due to the softening of the market in 2008. It adds that McGraw-Hill attributes its weak overall 2008 revenues due to some fall-off in its frontlist and lower sales of backlist titles in August 2008.
