The article presents the results of the study titled "Student Watch 2008" conducted by the National Association of College Stores (NACS) on 21 campuses in the U.S. in October 2007. It reveals that 91 percent of the students' classes required textbooks, 37 percent demanded coursepacks, and 22 percent necessitated digital or electronic course materials. It also shows that 72 percent of the students opted for a traditional textbook and 13 percent preferred electronic materials.
