ABSTRACT
The article discusses the business strategy of Peabody Energy Corp. With the decrease in support for nuclear power development, oil spill at Gulf of Mexico and unreliability of solar and wind energy the demand for cola in power production has been increasing. In the U.S. almost 40 percent of power is generated from coal and its consumption is also increasing in China. Gregory Boyce, chief executive officer at Peabody, plans to supply cola to China from mines in the U.S. and Australia.
