HR Specialist: California Employment Law;Aug2010, Vol. 4 Issue 8, p2
The article offers information on investigating the underlying discrimination claim of complaining employees. It presents the case between Karem Al-Chokhachi and the California Department of Transportation in which Al-Chokhachi claimed that disciplinary threat of his supervisor Sameer Haddadeen was retaliation for alleging discrimination. Moreover, the Second District Court of Appeal of California dismissed the case, noting no one threatened to punish Al-Chokhachi for complaining.
