ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's insights on the Canadian Library Association (CLA). The author states that the association works to make valuable contributions to the people of Canada. He cites the 100th anniversary conference of British Columbia Library Association (BCLA) as an accomplishment. He also notes the highlights of his tenure as CLA president including the development of a position statement on the copyright bill, legislation for library book rate, and advocacy kits for copyright.
