May 2011
Heating/Piping/Air Conditioning Engineering;May2011, Vol. 83 Issue 5, p18
The article focuses on the integration of the engineered-plastic cooling tower in a 16-story office complex at 5777 W. Century Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. It notes that the engineered-plastic cooling tower replaces the building's old injector cooling towers to withstand corrosions and high humidity. The project was made possible through the collaboration between air-conditioning specialist Centrifugal Technologies Inc. and building's owner LAT Investment Corp.
