ABSTRACT
The author reflects on some of the memorable events affecting the U.S. business community as of June 2011. In 1991, Iraq was attacked by the United Nations (UN) forces and Florida was hit by Hurricane Andrew. The Waco tragedy and the World Trade Center bombing happened in 1993. The year 1996 was marked by the split up of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, followed by the car crash accident resulting to the death of the Princess in 1997. The author considers the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack as the most defining moment for the country.
