ABSTRACT
The article discusses research articles which explain the diagnosis and treatment of conditions within the external portions of the eye and cornea. The first study involves corneal perforation treatment using gamma radiation corneal lenticule grafts. Another research involves the use of a Technolas femtosecond laser to slice new profiles in host and donor eyes in order to treat astigmatism. One study discusses the potential of intrastromal ring segments during conductive keratoplasty in enhancing corneal shape.
