ABSTRACT
The article considers the policy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid the events in the Arab world. It references the message of Netanyahu to Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Palestinian Authority on April 27, 2011 immediately after the Fatah-Hamas Agreement was announced. It explores the consequences of what the author calls the policy of prevention and argues that Netanyahu had a role in creating the instability in the Arab world.
