The article focuses on cartoonist Garry Trudeau and his cartoon strip "Doonesbury." As an appreciation of his works, he was given a honorary degree by Yale University. He expresses rhetorical leisure in his works, and he gives climax to almost every one of his comic works. He also treats essentially banal exchanges with ease.
