ABSTRACT
The article presents the consensus of the Pharmacy Practice Model Summit held November 2010 in Dallas, Texas. The consensus summarizes the summit participants' thoughts on the necessity for change, major barriers to transformation, and the facilitators of change. The article lists the statements of the consensus, including the imperatives for new practice models, application of information technology in medication-use process, and advancing the use of pharmacy technicians.
