ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the set-top standardization of data to all cable, satellite and telephone company providers by Media Ratings Council (MRC) and NCC Media in the U.S. It says that MRC and NCC develop draft of guidelines defining how television providers collect and report data which participated by 19 television operators. MRC chief executive officer (CEO) George Ivie said that the sixth draft guidelines covers details on collection, processing and data storage.
