ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the prices of low density polyethylene (LDPE) in May 2011. It states that prices of LDPE have pushed down due to several reasons, including reduced demand, decline in petroleum prices, and inflation. China the prices of LDPE film have decreased to 13.400-13,800/tonne Yuan. In Europe, reduced prices of oil stocks have caused a fall in spot prices of polymers.
