ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights on the U.S. legislators' decisions on programs that directly affect eduction and library funding. The author says that the U.S. House of Representatives submitted a bill to the Senate that would remove funding for the Improving Literacy Through School Libraries program. She also states that funding for the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) could be reduced in the future.
