ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to water utility industry in the U.S. Deron Allen will be the new president of Tennessee American Water replacing John Watson, who plans to retire on May 1, 2011. A new and improved website of the Clean Water Council (CWC) was launched located at www.cleanwatercouncil.org. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) that aims to promote assistance for utilities to ensure sustainable operation was announced by Wachs Water Services and Veritec Consulting Inc.
