ABSTRACT

AK Steel Corp. reports a net income of 8.7 million dollars for the first quarter of the year. The net income of Alcoa Inc. increases 20 percent to 309 million dollars. Allgheny Technologies Inc.'s net income improves to 56.3 million dollars on sales of 1.23 billion dollars.
