ABSTRACT
The article discusses the danger and hardship faced by the surgical team in Vukovar hospital at the onset of war in Vukovar, Croatia. It mentions the life and work of the team during the critical period wherein they conducted surgical procedures at the hospital basement and its anti-atom bomb (AA) shelter. It also discusses problems on water, electricity, and medical supplies and facilities.
