ABSTRACT
The article focuses on wet dust filters in metal finishing operations to ensure the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regulatory compliance and improve air quality for workers. It mentions that wet dust collection system improve workers' ergonomics. Equipment engineering specialist Terry Graham of Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth, Texas said that dry dust collectors are switched to wet because they work with variety of materials like titanium, magnesium and aluminum to prevent fire.
