ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs in the United States. Joseph Califano informed reporters that the plan for the NHI will not be introduced in 1978 but will have to wait until 1979. Farmers withheld their production to sell their produce with high prices unless the government repeals the laws of supply and demand. The administration ceased the development of an $850-million computer network that should have given IRS agents instant access to taxpayers records.
