ABSTRACT
The article reports on the activities before the opening of the Moscow Olympics. One athletic event trained and harassed some American athletes for the Soviet competition excluding Chilean and Israeli teams. The International Olympic Committee declared that the Republic of China would have to change its name and flag to be able to compete in Moscow, Russia.
