ABSTRACT
The article comments on the remake of the movie "The Champ" by director Franco Zeffirelli and starring Jon Voight. A remake of the film by the same name by King Vidor made in 1931, the author sees no improvement. He finds the story is highly inviable, and the characters unvelievable. Further negative commentary is offered on Zeffirelli's other works, including "Romeo and Juliet" and biographies of Saint Francis Jesus Christ.
