ABSTRACT
The article features Jesuit priest Luis Eduardo Pellecer Faena and his experience of being abducted in Guatemala in June 1981. Four months after his abduction, Pellecer stood before an audience to reconstruct the past eight years of his life. He described such years as the direct and indirect subversion of the people of El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Guatemala. Pellecer held a degree in humanities, communications, philosophy, civil engineering, and theology. He had also done graduate study in medicine.
