ABSTRACT
The article reports on the enactment of the Gun Control Act in United States. It discusses the regulation of the violent crimes committed with firearms wherein it imposed several restrictions on the sale, collection and use of guns and ammunitions. It also mentions that the Gun Control Act has done little to prevent the growth of crime in the society.
