ABSTRACT
The article comments on the Easter sermon of New York Episcopal Bishop Paul Moore Jr. and Pope John Paul II which condemned some men due to their inherent craving for excessive wealth. Bishop Moore condemned New York businessmen who take their firms outside the city. Pope John Paul asserted that excessive wealth is responsible for the unhappiness of mankind.
