ABSTRACT
The article criticizes the creators of the motion picture "Missing" for promoting the movie as a documentary based on actual events. The film centers on the alleged involvement of the United States embassy in Santiago, Chile in the murder of American freelance writer Charles Horman. According to the author, the supposed facts presented in the movie were never established and therefore cannot be asserted as truth.
