ABSTRACT
The article presents a selection of paragraphs which appeared in previous issues of the journal "National Review." A description of McCarthyism as a means of damaging one's political opponent appeared in the February 1, 1956 issue of the journal. A problem for next examination at Columbia School of Journalism has been suggested in an article which appeared in the August 3, 1957 issue of the journal.
