The article features the formation of a movement in Germany known as the "Greens." The "Greens" was based on Charles Reich's "The Greening of America," a best-seller from the late sixties. The primary aim of the movement is to prevent, through political action, the destruction of nature. The Greens' wrath is primarily directed at nuclear power plants, nuclear weapons, and military bases that house nuclear weapons.
