Disaster-readiness of the National Library of the Philippines

The article presents a study exploring the readiness of the National Library of the Philippines from disasters. It discusses the importance of minimizing damage and preventing disasters from happening on the National Library, noting that it contains several valuable historical materials such as the incunabulas, Philippine Revolutionary Records, and the rare Rizaliana collection. A survey was conducted with the staff of the National Library using questionnaires as well as interview and site visits. Observations of the study are provided as well as recommendations from the researchers on factors the National Library should consider.
