ABSTRACT
The article presents a study which examines the factors that influence the pursuit of a Master's degree in Library and Information Science in the Philippines. It outlines the method of the study that uses survey questions to the students in the University of the Philippines (UP). The study found out the psycho- and socio-factors influence students to pursue the course, however, it recommends the need for schools to strengthen the curriculum to attract more enrollees.
