User needs analysis for a children's library in barangay UP campus

The article discusses the study concerning with the perceptions of Barangay University of the Philippines (UP) Campus community in the Philippines towards the user needs in a children's library in their respective area. It mentions that the user needs analysis was carried out to determine the objectives of the study like finding out the socio-demographic profile of Barangay UP Campus, verifying the perceived user need of children by the members of the community and establishing the overall view other community towards establishing a children's library in the barangay. It states that a survey questionnaire was used as the research instrument and was distributed to 297 legal residents. It maintains that most respondents of the study were in favor of putting up a children's library.
