The game connects every individuals, not only through bleacher friendships and neighborhood loyalties but most importantly through generations. In baseball, individuals share a commonality, despite the looming differences, that is their interest in the game. Young and old alike can discuss it without so much ado. Furthermore, baseball has its season, a time of year when it can be played. Life has seasons, too. It offers time for individuals to just wait patiently and stand still and a time to act to the situations.
