ABSTRACT
The article discusses an approach to developing a communications perspective toward a Master of Business Administration (MBA) writing course, stating that most MBA students did not study business as undergraduates and therefore do not have a high level of writing proficiency. The author describes the advantage of developing a conceptual communications framework with which to effectively teach business communication skills. The author explains the important themes to address in a communications course, such as theory and concepts, oral-gestural micro communication, written micro communication, and small group micro communication.
