The article reports on the use of an energy-recovery-ventilation (ERV) system for the indoor-air quality of Turtle River Montessori in Jupiter, Florida. It mentions that ERV wheels help in recycling the heating and cooling energy in exhaust air and that it reduce 80 percent of the load on a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system. It also notes that the ERV system has helped save 25,000 U.S. dollars in the school's construction cost.
